Very peeved January 4, 2009 M. Mayer (Colorado) I ordered 3 of these cameras (to complete a set of 4 for a very special trip). Got them a couple days before the trip only to find EVERY SINGLE ONE was defective! They were ALL missing the little switch for changing the channels so you can use more than one at once, which was the whole point of buying them! I didn't have time to order them from elsewhere in time for the trip. I had to return them all the manufacturer for replacements. Very peeved!!
Swann NightHawk 2 2.4Hgz Wireless Cameras and Reciever December 22, 2008 Joseph A. Ferrara Jr. (Port Richey,Florida) The NightHawk cameras are very compatible with add on cameras but needs a better view at night with blurry video operation.Just add a Swann SW-P-HGA Wireless Network Booster to the Reciever unit.
Wireless interrupts home network. August 15, 2008 JudeB (Ohio) The video quality is adequate for what it's for. I don't plan to make movies with it. I like being able to see the front and back of my house. However, the user manual is worthless. The biggest drawback is that the wireless cameras totally knock out my wireless home network. Laptops put next to the access point can't find a signal. It uses the same 2.4 GHz band as home routers. Swann said there is no solution, buy a wired system. Defeats the convenience feature, doesn't it? It could possibly interrupt your neighbor's as well. This must go for any other wireless system.
I gave this product a low score because of the wireless network problem.
overpriced for what it does August 8, 2008 Luba V. Lavrusik (MN) This camera is worthless. It's not worth the price. They all look the same and sell under different brands. The wireless signal is ok, it's the image quality that is as poor as it gets. Night vision is almost non-existent it's a joke. Works very poorly when it's bright out. This camera is worth no more than $20.
Swann Night Hawk Camera June 9, 2008 Sherry Medina (Georgia) This camera dose not work with any other Swann Night Hawk camera this was no good to me.
